Only a permit holder, or at their request, a person or business licensed by the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies as provided by state law, may install an alarm system in the city. Only a person or business licensed by the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies as provided by state law, may monitor and relay alarm notifications on behalf of a permit holder or alarm user.
